Why should I care?
Supporters say honoring championship teams celebrates American sports culture and the diverse roster representing six countries. Critics argue Congress spends time on ceremonial resolutions while major issues wait. An alternative: limit symbolic resolutions to free up floor time for substantive debate. Where do you land?
